1. The agreement

These terms are the agreement between to be confirmed ("xGI", "we", "us") and the parent/guardian who books coaching for a player ("you"). They apply from the first assessment. The privacy policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these terms. Your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish law are not affected by anything here.

2. What xGI does

xGI (expected Growth and Impact) is measured youth football coaching. We assess each player, build a profile of where they are now and where we think their ceiling is, coach to close that distance, and reassess every six weeks. Coaching runs for players aged under 9 to under 13 for now. The Academy and Management arms open later and will have their own terms.

3. The first assessment

The first assessment is free and places you under no obligation. We may decline or end a booking if a session cannot be run safely or the player is outside the age groups we coach.

4. Your account

We create a parent/guardian account for you when the player joins; there is no public sign-up. Keep your password private and tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account. You may ask us to give another person, such as a second parent/guardian, access to the same player.

5. Fees and payment

Coaching is paid by a monthly subscription per player, taken by card through our payment provider, Stripe. The plan and price are confirmed before you pay. Payment is taken in advance for each month. If a payment fails we will tell you and try again; coaching may pause until the subscription is up to date. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of a price change, and you may cancel before it takes effect.

6. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from the player's page on the platform or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month already paid for, and we do not charge again. As a consumer you may also cancel within 14 days of starting a subscription; if you asked for coaching to begin inside those 14 days, we refund the payment less the value of the sessions already delivered.

7. Sessions

We publish the session timetable in advance. We may move or cancel a session because of weather, pitch closures or safety; we will tell you as early as we can and offer another session or a credit. A session the player misses for any other reason is not refunded, but tell us early and we will try to find another place.

8. Health, safety and conduct

  • Tell us before the first session about any medical condition, allergy, injury or medication a coach should know about, and keep it up to date.
  • Football is a physical sport and carries a risk of injury. Our coaches are Garda vetted, follow the FAI's child safeguarding requirements, and stop a player who appears injured. A player with a suspected concussion does not return to training until cleared.
  • Players, parents and guardians are expected to treat coaches, other players and families with respect. We may end coaching for a player after serious or repeated behaviour that puts others at risk, and refund any month not yet started.

9. Photos, video and data

Assessments and sessions are photographed and filmed so we can measure and coach, with the consent given at booking. Session videos are deleted 30 days after upload and the measured numbers stay on the player's profile. Nothing is published without your separate permission. The privacy policy has the detail and your rights, including withdrawing consent.

10. What the profile is

Profiles, ceilings and player cards are our coaches' professional assessment supported by measurement. They guide training; they are not a promise of selection, a contract or a trial with any club.

11. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that Irish law does not allow us to limit. Otherwise, our total liability to you in connection with these terms is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable.

12. General

We may update these terms and will post the new version here; if a change affects you materially we will email you before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of Ireland and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. If something goes wrong, email [email protected] first and we will try to put it right.
